Agreeing to these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and Roni Biran, who makes Where Am I?. By using the app, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Where Am I?.
These terms add to Apple's Standard License Agreement for apps from the App Store.
Readings are estimates
Where Am I? shows what your iPhone's GPS reports. Position, altitude, speed, heading and signal strength can be inaccurate, delayed or unavailable, especially indoors, in a plane cabin, near tall buildings, or when the signal is weak. Altitude is usually less accurate than position. The signal bars are an estimate based on reported accuracy, not a measurement of satellite signal.
Not for navigation or safety
- Don't rely on Where Am I? for navigation, aviation, boating, emergencies or any purpose where wrong or missing readings could cause harm or loss.
- Don't use the app while driving or doing anything else that needs your full attention.
- On a plane, follow the crew's instructions and your airline's rules about using devices.
The app is provided as is
Where Am I? is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise that it will always work, that its readings are accurate, or that it's free of bugs. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from using the app or relying on its readings. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be waived.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll update this page and the date at the top, and describe important changes in the app's release notes. If you keep using Where Am I? after that, you agree to the new terms. You can stop using Where Am I? at any time by deleting it.
